This unforgettable evening will feature a Parade of Athletes, live performances, guest speakers, and interactive celebrations to mark the start of the 10th World Masters Athletics Indoor Championships.
5:30 PM – VIP Reception Begins
5:30 PM – Doors Open to the Public (House music plays)
6:00 PM – The Gainesville Orchestra performs American Fantasia and the National Anthem
6:08 PM – Emcee Casana Fink officially opens the ceremony
6:09 PM – Parade of Athletes led by DJ Elio, with each country announced
6:30 PM – Opening remarks from Alachua County Commissioner Charles Chestnut IV
6:35 PM – Live performance by The Gainesville Orchestra (Wicked sing-along)
6:45 PM – Dance Alive National Ballet performs with the Gainesville Orchestra
6:53 PM – WMA President Margit Jungmann presents the Officials’ Oath
7:00 PM – Official Opening of the 10th WMA Indoor Championships
7:02 PM – Sing and Dance Along! The Gainesville Orchestra plays Sing, Sing, Sing
7:08 PM – DJ Elio keeps the celebration going with music and dancing
7:30 PM – Reception and event conclusion
