We are continuing to monitor the status of COVID-19, and we know that these are difficult and uncertain times for everyone. The health and safety of Celebration Pointe’s employees and guests are always our top priorities. For this reason, the general common areas of Celebration Pointe have been closed to the public until further notice.
We can’t wait to reopen as soon as it’s safe to celebrate with you again. And in the meantime, we encourage you to follow the recommendations and proper sanitary procedures provided by the CDC, as well as our local authorities and health officials.
Any plans to go shopping in Gainesville are postponed at the moment. But a handful of Celebration Pointe businesses are offering limited services while taking the necessary safety precautions.
Hotel Indigo is open for the lodging needs of anyone who may still be traveling for essential business or
visiting family. Spread the word to anyone planning to stay the night in Gainesville.
The Keys Bar and Grill is offering food delivery and curbside pickup service Wednesday – Friday 5:00-9:00 PM and Saturday – Sunday 3:00-8:30 PM with lots of options, including happy hour specials. Happy day! Plus, first responders will receive 25% off orders and there is free delivery within a 5-mile radius for orders over $20. For more about their current hours, menu, specials and COVID-19 response, visit their website.
Need electronics expertise? Gadget Guys is still open with limited drop-off service for essential phone repairs. Current limited hours are Monday–Saturday 10 AM–6 PM and Sunday 12–5 PM.
Bass Pro Shops just reopened for shopping as well as boat service and repair. Current operating hours are Monday–Sunday 10 AM–6 PM with a Senior Shopping Hour Monday–Friday 9–10 AM before the other shoppers arrive.
We wish all our favorite restaurants could offer food delivery all the time! But many of our restaurants are closed until further notice. So while a DiGiorno pizza and Netflix are no match for dinner at MidiCi’s and a movie at Regal, they’ll make for a great quarantine date night. And if you’re a Regal Unlimited member, don’t worry. Charges for your movie pass have been automatically paused by Regal until movie theaters in Gainesville are up and running again.
Hana Sushi and Miller’s Alehouse are also closed for now, but they can’t wait to serve you as soon as we all get through this unprecedented situation. Speaking of sushi, why not use all this extra time at home to learn to make your own? As long as you order the ingredients online or take the proper sanitary precautions on your grocery run, it’s another great idea for a date night. It can also be a fun opportunity to learn something new as a family and help keep people occupied during this time.
Does your sweet tooth have you dreaming of pre-quarantine treats from Decadent and Kilwins? Us too. We suggest jumping on the whipped coffee bandwagon to kill time and satisfy your chocolate and caffeine cravings until it’s safe for Decadent and Kilwins to set up shop again.
As we’re all learning, self-care is critical during this stressful time. Unfortunately, we can’t visit Azulene Day Spa and The Nail Spa in Celebration Pointe until further notice. We suggest starting a massage train with your quaranteam and making DIY facemasks to make it through. Looking for a way to treat yourself or someone else when life gets back to normal? Azulene Day Spa offers gift certificates you can purchase online right now!
If you’re like us, you’re daydreaming about post-quarantine life. While you can’t visit our retail stores to try things on, you can browse all of the following online so you’ll be ready once we make it through this: the Nike Factory Store, Skechers, Select Shades, Palmetto Moon, Tommy Hilfiger and International Diamond Center.
We can’t wait until we get to see you on the Promenade once we put this quarantine behind us. And we want all of you to be safe and stay healthy until that time comes. Right now, we encourage you to safely support your local businesses by purchasing gift cards and more online if you can. If we all hang in there and take the necessary health precautions, we will get through this together.
