The Venues

The Keys Grill & Piano Bar

The Keys is owned and operated by three experienced restaurateurs and business owners in the region, including Tony Espetia, a real estate professional with Coldwell Banker M. M. Parrish Realtors and former owner of Rum Runners and Fat Tuesday in Gainesville, Brad Heron the past owner of Rockeys Dueling Piano Bar and Diego Ibanez, the co-owner of Emiliano’s Café, a longtime, family-owned restaurant in Gainesville. The Keys brings a one-of-a-kind dining and entertainment experience to Celebration Pointe, and their happy hour is a big part of the fun!

The Keys’ Happy Hour is from 4 – 7 PM Monday through Friday, where you can score $4 premium wells, 1/2 price glasses of wine and $4 draft craft beers. And they don’t call it a Grill & Piano Bar for no reason! Catch the live dueling piano show starting at 9 PM Thursdays through Saturdays! MidiCi – The Neapolitan Pizza Company

If you want to experience a taste of Italy, don’t miss out on MidiCi! You’ll be transported to another time and place with their wine and cocktail selections. Enjoy Italian aperitivos like the Negroni or the Aperol Spritz, or sip on wines from Tuscany and Veneto. Of course, they have classic cocktails and local craft beer on tap as well, so you’ll also be satisfied with if you’re craving something closer to home. And it gets better –– their happy hour isn’t just limited to weekdays! All-day, every day Miller’s Ale House has new food and drink specials, so there’s always something on happy hour! Each day, you can enjoy beer, wine, shots and wells under $5. Also, check their menu for daily discounted beer pitchers!

Bonus Tip: Their Friday-featured Happy Hour cocktail, the Blue Margarita, is quite delicious and very popular!

Hotel Indigo

Even if you aren’t staying overnight in the beautiful, modern Hotel Indigo, that doesn’t mean you won’t feel at home there! Stop by their Gather Social Lounge to enjoy their hand-crafted cocktails, from their creative concoctions to classic favorites. Their expert bartenders are experienced in mixology and can whip something up to suit your tastes. Their happy hour is every Monday through Friday from 5 – 7 PM, with discounts on select cocktails, beer and wine!

Bonus Tip: Don’t miss First Fridays, where you can score happy hour specials and enjoy some art! On the first Friday of every month, Hotel Indigo displays a local artist’s work in their lobby gallery, and from 6 – 9 PM guests can sip on beverages as they admire the exhibit.

 

Even More Happy Hour Fun

Besides the unique venues and killer specials, Celebration Pointe has even more reasons why it’s a must-stop happy hour destination in Gainesville. If you weren’t already aware, Celebration Pointe is open container-friendly so you can sip on beer, wine and cocktails outdoors as you stroll the City Walk Promenade. This open container policy comes in handy during Celebration Pointe’s recurring events:

Jazz on the Green: Jazz on the Green is held the second Saturday of every month from 7 – 9 PM. Listen to the sounds of live jazz as you sip on your open-container beverage of choice.

Playlist @ the Pointe: Playlist @ the Pointe is held once a month on Fridays from 8 – 10 PM in the City Walk Promenade. Enjoy a free concert while munching on tasty food from food trucks and sipping on beer, wine and cocktails!

Chomp the Block: Are you a Gators fan? Then you’re going to want to stop by Chomp the Block! Select Fridays before designated home football games, come out to Celebration Pointe to cheer on the Gators! There’s Gators cheerleaders, surprise guests, live music, food trucks, games and activities for the kids as well as food and alcoholic beverages for adults.
