Everyone in the Gator ® Nation has been asking, “When is the Steve Spurrier restaurant opening date?” That’s why we are excited to announce that Spurrier’s Gridiron Grille will be opening this fall in Celebration Pointe! But it won’t be the only highly anticipated newcomer in 2020. See what else we’re adding to the unlimited celebration this year—including Dave & Buster’s Gainesville.
Spurrier’s Gridiron Grille is the legendary Head Ball Coach’s next big play off the field. He’s opening his doors and sharing his legacy with all of us through a new immersive restaurant experience at Celebration Pointe.
The part-restaurant, part-football-museum bar and grill concept will celebrate Gator ® Football’s legacy of success while offering a casual-American dining atmosphere and a rooftop view. Fans and visitors will be able to stand inches from Spurrier’s own 1966 Heisman Trophy and other memorabilia before and after taking a seat. Can you think of a better place to watch UF games this season? We’ll wait.
Well, it won’t have the school spirit or history of a Steve Spurrier restaurant in Gainesville, Florida, but it will almost certainly have the biggest TVs in the neighborhood. The only place to eat, drink, play and watch sports all under one roof is coming to Celebration Pointe! Dave & Buster’s Gainesville will be the ninth Florida location of the popular 37-year-old restaurant and entertainment chain.
The 19,000-square-foot space will offer the perfect mix of arcade nostalgia and sports bar atmosphere—oh, and classic sports bar food. Dave & Buster’s Gainesville will be a welcome addition for students looking to blow off steam, parents searching for a fun family outing and fans of all ages rooting for a UF victory.
The two best words to describe this high-end steakhouse coming to Celebration Pointe in 2020 are bold and innovative. The purpose of Prime & Pearl is to breathe new life into the sophisticated steakhouse concept. You can expect more than just the steak and oysters referenced in the name. Patrons will be able to taste meats that have been dry-aged for 45 days and select their weapon of choice, choosing from an array of unique steak knives. There’s nothing ordinary about Prime & Pearl, and that’s exactly the point.
