And whether you’re here for one of our many holiday events or some last-minute shopping, you can count on our holiday lights, including drive-thru displays and festive photo ops, all to keep you in the spirit during your visit. And you can’t miss our tree. No literally, you can’t. It’s massive.
For another year, the City of Gainesville has installed more than 200,000 LED lights in Depot Park for its annual Light “D” Park display. It runs through December 30, and, depending on when you go, you can enjoy food and drinks from a rotating panel of food trucks as well as Boxcar Wine & Beer Garden.
This animated, dancing lights display in Newberry is up and running every day through January 1. Tune to the corresponding radio station and enjoy the holiday sights & lights from the comfort of your car.
This is one of the most well-known light displays in Gainesville. The Duck Pond Holiday Lights at North Florida Regional Medical Center has plenty of festive light displays that will stay up at least through New Year’s Eve. Strolling around the pond is the perfect way to take in the holiday sights and enjoy a relaxing evening with friends and family.
